Terms of use.
These are the terms for using Munch, the app and this website. They are short because the app is simple: there is nothing to sign up for, nothing to buy inside, and nothing of yours on our servers.
Using Munch.
When you download Munch you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to install and play it on devices you own or control, under the terms of the store you downloaded it from. Updates may change or remove features; we will try to say so in the release notes.
Your progress.
Your collection, stars and current puzzle are stored on your device only. Device backups are the way to keep them; we cannot recover progress that is lost, moved or reset, because we never had it.
What is ours, and what is theirs.
The pictures, their names, the sounds, the Munch name and mark, and the design and code of the app belong to the publisher of Munch. The typefaces Outfit and DM Sans are used under the SIL Open Font License, and the Lucide icons under the ISC licence; they remain their authors' work, credited inside the app. This website also uses Pixelify Sans, under the SIL Open Font License.
You are welcome to share screenshots and recordings of your play: reviews, streams, a picture you are proud of. Please do not copy the pictures or sounds into other products, sell or redistribute the app, or take it apart beyond what your local law allows.
No warranty.
We work to make Munch reliable on the devices it is sold for, but it is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law gives you and will not let us exclude.
Liability.
To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Munch, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited where you live.
Ending.
You can stop using Munch at any time by deleting it. We may end your licence if you break these terms. Sections about ownership, warranty and liability continue to apply afterwards.
Changes and law.
If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date; continuing to use Munch after that means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the publisher is established, except where the laws of the country you live in give you stronger protection; then those apply.
