Most questions are answered below. If yours is not, write to support@playmunch.app or use the contact page; a person reads every message, and replies take a couple of days.

How do I play Munch?

Each picture sits inside four colored edges. Swipe, or tap an edge, and the whole picture slides that way. Pixels that reach the edge of their own color are munched away; any other color blocks the lane. Clear every pixel and the picture joins your collection. The five-step guide shows each rule on a live board.

Does Munch need an internet connection?

No. Munch works offline from the first launch, and the app does not open network connections at all.

Are there ads, accounts or purchases inside the app?

No. There are no ads, no accounts and nothing to buy inside. All ninety-six pictures in the eight packs come with the app.

I am stuck on a picture. What can I do?

Undo is free and goes back as far as you need. Route is free too: it tells you whether the picture can still be finished from where you are, without saying how. Hint shows one good next move; the first hint on each picture is free, and using more caps that run at two stars. Once per picture you can also turn the rails one step clockwise, which changes which color each edge eats.

How are stars earned?

Each picture has a move target. Finish at or under it for three stars, within one and a half times the target for two, and any finish earns one. Undo and Route never cost anything.

Can I get my progress back on a new phone, or after deleting the app?

Only from a device backup. Your collection lives on your device and is never sent to us, so we have no copy to restore. A backup that includes app data, made by your phone or tablet, brings it back.

How do I start over?

Open Settings and choose Reset all progress. It deletes your collection, best scores and current puzzle from this device, and it cannot be undone.

What accessibility options are there?

Every edge is labeled with its color and is a large tap target, so you never have to swipe. In Settings, Color symbols gives each color its own shape, Less motion keeps the board calm and still, and Sound and Haptics can each be turned off.

Which devices does Munch run on?

iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. The board fits phones in portrait and gives tablets a wider layout with the tools beside it.

How do I report a bug?

Write to support@playmunch.app with your device and its system version, the app version printed at the bottom of Settings, the picture's name and what you expected to happen, and a screenshot if you have one.
